Danusia Samal is a London-born actress of who spent part of her childhood in the Middle East. She also works as a writer and singer. In 2018, Danusia wrote and performed Busking It, a musical play inspired by her experiences as a London Underground busker. It toured to critical acclaim in London, Alderburgh, and Edinburgh.

Onstage, Danusia’s credits include: Rutherford and Son (Sheffield Crucible); Busking It and Billy The Girl (Soho Theatre); Trap Street (Kandinsky); B and How to Hold Your Breath (Royal Court); What If Women Ruled the World (Manchester International Festival); Two Noble Kinsmen and The Rover (Royal Shakespeare Company) , The Odyssey (Liverpool Everyman/ Globe); The House That Will Not Stand (Tricycle)The Birthday Party at Manchester Royal Exchange & Liverpool Everyman.

Her recent screen credits include The Great by The Favourite writer Tony Mcnamara (Hulu/CH 4). Danusia also plays Ladriya in Paramount’s live action remake of cult classic Ghost in the Shell and Ru’A’ in Fox’s popular US series Tyrant. She is represented by Sian & Maddie at Hamilton Hodell & Jill Kaplan at Authentic Management.
